This role is an opportunity to join our unique & specialised business and to collaborate with Australia's leading architects. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Consultant to join our specialised architectural team. In this role, responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with architects on high end projects at early design stage
- Managing incoming enquiries and assisting with technical information and drawings to help architects specify our products
- Assisting architects and builders with project-specific window details, plans and sections, in order to finalise the design of the windows within the building design
- Cross-checking project requirements (energy and structural), quoting documents and relevant Australian Standards in order to establish the job brief
- Reviewing WSDs, construction documents and sales contracts
The successful candidate will have a passion for architecture and design, and have relevant experience in a similar Australian role dealing with architects and clients on a regular basis. The below attributes will also be highly desirable:
- Qualification in architecture, design or drafting
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D and / or 3D
- Knowledge of construction methods and Australian Building Standards (specifically for windows, doors and glazing)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Willingness to become an expert in the world-leading Vitrocsa system
