My client is a global industrial automation manufacturer.
They are seeking an Account Manager to develop customer relationships and grow their business across Brisbane and Southeast Queensland.
The role combines existing account management with new business development across food and beverage, packaging, transport, manufacturing and industrial automation.
The successful candidate will build relationships with engineers, maintenance teams, purchasing contacts and commercial stakeholders.
They will identify opportunities, understand customer requirements and work with technical specialists to provide suitable solutions.
Candidates living in the north or south of Brisbane are welcome, with territories aligned to location wherever possible.
- What they are looking for
- Experience in account management, sales engineering or technical business development.
- Industrial automation backgrounds are highly regarded.
Experience with instrumentation, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical products or process equipment will also be considered.
- Strong customer engagement, commercial awareness, initiative and a willingness to learn are important.
- Mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering qualifications are advantageous, alongside relevant technical sales experience.
