Grow with us. Shape what’s next.

Are you curious about how businesses develop new products, improve processes and bring innovative ideas to life?

Do you enjoy solving problems, analysing information and working with clients across different industries?

At Vincents, you’ll have the opportunity to combine analytical thinking, technical research and client engagement to help businesses access the Australian R&D Tax Incentive.

You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, understand the innovation happening behind the scenes, and turn complex technical and financial information into meaningful outcomes.

Whether you’re an Analyst looking to build your expertise or a Senior Analyst ready to take greater ownership of client engagements, this is an opportunity to grow your career in a specialised and evolving area of tax advisory.

What you’ll be doing

No two client engagements are exactly the same.

You’ll work with clients and colleagues to understand their operations, explore their R&D activities and determine how these may align with the R&D Tax Incentive requirements.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Preparing clear, accurate and well-supported R&D project descriptions, reports and claim documentation.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their projects, technical activities, objectives and supporting evidence.
  • Reviewing technical documentation and financial information to identify potentially eligible R&D activities and expenditure.
  • Researching legislation, regulatory guidance and industry developments to support sound technical advice.
  • Identifying documentation gaps, potential risks and compliance considerations, helping develop practical solutions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Tax, Advisory and other service lines to deliver great client outcomes.
  • What you’ll bring

We’re interested in people who are curious, analytical and keen to understand how businesses operate and innovate.

You don’t need to know everything about the R&D Tax Incentive already as we value transferable skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to turn complex information into clear, practical outcomes.

You’ll ideally bring

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Strong research, problem-solving and analytical skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and an interest in developing your technical and commercial expertise.

Experience preparing or supporting Australian R&D Tax Incentive claims, interpreting tax legislation, analysing project expenditure or working with clients in technology, engineering, manufacturing, software or life sciences would be advantageous.

Ready to grow with us?

If you’re looking for a role that combines analytical thinking, technical expertise and meaningful client interaction, we’d love to hear from you.
