We’re looking for an experienced Dietitian who wants more from their next role, based in Roma, St George or potentially Dalby QLD. You’ll have the autonomy to work across a varied clinical caseload, while also having genuine scope to contribute beyond clinical work. Depending on your experience and ambitions, that could include clinical supervision, project and service development, greater responsibility within the organisation or progression towards management. If making the move is part of the decision, relocation support is also available.
As a Vital Health Dietitian, you’ll work within an established multidisciplinary team across clinic, community and outreach settings. Your caseload may span chronic disease management, paediatrics, aged care, gut health, eating disorders and disordered eating, and home enteral nutrition. You’ll work alongside Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants, with the autonomy expected of an experienced clinician and the support of a broader allied health team. There is also scope to contribute beyond your own caseload, including contributing to the Right Care Right Place initiative, helping improve access to appropriate support for people experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders. Our Sleep Health service provides further opportunities to contribute to sleep-related services and work alongside Sleep Specialists.
We’re not recruiting an experienced Dietitian simply to fill a caseload. There is significant scope to shape this position around your strengths, experience and ambitions. You may want to remain predominantly clinical while providing supervision and support to other clinicians. You may be interested in project work, service development or contributing to new initiatives across Vital Health. Or you may be ready for greater responsibility and interested in developing towards a management pathway. There isn’t one predetermined direction for the role. We want to understand what you can bring to Vital Health and what you want from your next career move.
We’re open to discussing this opportunity across Roma, St George and Dalby. Finding the right experienced Dietitian is the priority, so we’re prepared to discuss which location works best for you and for Vital Health. If you’re considering relocating, relocation support is available, and we’re happy to discuss what would help make the move work.
What We Can Offer:
- From $55 per hour + super, with capacity to negotiate for the right candidate
- Relocation support
- Flexibility to discuss working arrangements and clinical focus
- Opportunities to provide clinical supervision
- Involvement in projects and service development
- Scope for increased responsibility and progression towards management
- An established multidisciplinary allied health team
- Administrative and NDIS support
About You:
This opportunity is specifically for an experienced Dietitian and is not suitable for new graduates. You’ll hold a recognised tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and be eligible for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. You’ll have established clinical experience, be comfortable working with autonomy and bring strong communication and relationship-building skills. You’ll also need full Australian working rights and a current driver’s licence. Experience in clinical supervision, project management, leadership or service development would be highly regarded.
