We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Intermediate Rigger to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with a professional team across a range of industrial and mining projects.
About the Role
As an Intermediate Rigger, you will be responsible for assisting with rigging and lifting operations while working safely and efficiently as part of a team. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing dogging and rigging duties in accordance with site requirements.
- Setting up and safely using lifting equipment.
- Conducting pre-start checks and inspecting rigging equipment.
- Working alongside crane and lifting crews.
- Following all site safety procedures and requirements.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Holds an Intermediate Rigging (HRWL).
- Demonstrated experience in complex lifts and critical lift planning.
- Experience rigging cranes, conveyors, excavators, dragline components or mining plant.
- Experience with dual crane lifts, demolition work and major shutdown projects.
- Typically 2+ years of rigging experience in mining, construction or heavy industry environments.
