The Role
As Head Vet Nurse, you will take on a leadership role within the clinic, supporting and mentoring our nursing team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital. This is a hands‐on role where you will balance leadership responsibilities with clinical nursing duties.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train and mentor the nursing team.
- Coordinate daily workflow and hospital operations.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service.
- Assist with rosters and stock control.
- Support veterinarians in all aspects of clinical care.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to lead by example.
- Passionate about providing gold‐standard care for patients and clients.
