Are you looking to kickstart your career in sheet metal work? We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Sheet Metal Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop their skills in sheet metal fabrication, welding, and installation under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal components
- Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings
- Use a variety of hand and power tools for cutting, bending, and shaping metals
- Operate basic machinery, Brake Press, Bandsaw and Guillotine
- Learn welding techniques like MIG, TIG and MMAW
- Work alongside skilled tradespeople to gain practical experience
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Complete required coursework and practical exams as part of the apprenticeship program
Requirements:
- A keen interest in learning and developing a trade
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Mechanical aptitude
