Versatile Group is seeking an experienced Senior Media Relations & PR Manager to lead our external communications strategy and help elevate the profile of one of Australia's fastest-growing property development and construction groups.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing media relations and public relations initiatives that support the Group's growth, brand positioning and corporate reputation.
You will partner closely with senior executives to identify opportunities, manage media engagement, develop thought leadership content and deliver communications strategies that strengthen our presence across key markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement media relations and PR strategies across the Group.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business, property, construction and trade media.
Identify and generate newsworthy stories, project announcements and executive commentary opportunities.
Draft media releases, opinion pieces, speeches, briefing notes and corporate communications materials.
Support executive profiling and thought leadership initiatives.
Manage reactive media enquiries and assist with issues management and crisis communications.
Monitor media coverage and provide insights and reporting.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to deliver communications outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
8+ years' experience in media relations, public relations, corporate communications or corporate affairs.
Experience working within a PR agency, corporate environment or both.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong media networks and a proven track record of securing positive media coverage.
Experience advising and supporting senior executives.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Experience within property, construction, infrastructure, development or related industries will be highly regarded.
