HV Substation Commissioning Officer/Engineer
Veri Power is a Melbourne based HV substation testing and commissioning business.
We're looking for experienced testing and commissioning personnel to join our team on transmission and sub-transmission projects in Australia's rapidly developing power system.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, carry out and document testing and commissioning activities
- Work with clients and other project teams to resolve technical issues on site
- Follow site safety requirements and approved test procedures
- Perform standalone testing of primary equipment, including CBs, CTs and VTs
- Perform testing of protection and control relays
- Perform testing of the integrated primary and secondary systems to verify overall performance
About you
- 5+ years' experience testing and commissioning protection relays and HV equipment in project environments
- High levels of commitment to compliance, quality and accountability
- The ability to work independently on site and communicate well with clients and colleagues
- A willingness to travel to project sites as required
