Ready to power up your career? Ventia's Western Power contract continues to grow—and so does our team. We're currently seeking an experienced Switching Operator to deliver essential services across WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, scope, and execute Switching Programs to enable safe access to the Western Power network
- Prepare and submit eNARs for planned outages, identifying isolation points to reduce customer impact
- Collaborate with the planning team to optimise scheduling and minimise project delays
- Communicate effectively with customers and businesses regarding upcoming planned outages
- Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all field operations
Qualifications
- Cert III in Distribution Overhead, Cable Jointing, or a WA Electrical Licence
- Current Western Power Switching Authorisation
- HV & LV Switching qualifications on Western Power's Network
- Trained and experienced with substation switching on Western Power's Network – desirable
- Valid driver's licence (HR preferred)
- EWP and High‐Risk Work Licences (DG, LF, CV or higher)
