As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial projects, using your expertise to deliver high-quality work that meets industry standards. What you'll be doing:
- Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures, such as walls, floors, roofs, and stairs
- Installing and repairing various types of woodwork, including cabinets, doors, and windows
- Interpreting and following architectural plans and blueprints to ensure projects are completed to specification
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project integration
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to our clients
What we're looking for:
- Completion of a recognised carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in the residential and commercial construction sectors
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome challenges on the job
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
