As a Mechanical Service Technician based at our advanced automated picking solutions site in Moorebank, Sydney, you will play a critical role in keeping high‐performance material handling systems operating at peak efficiency. Working on a rotating 24/7 roster, you'll be part of a rapidly growing team using market‐leading automation technology in a permanent, full‐time role.

Your Impact

• Maintain, install, and repair automated material handling systems to ensure high availability and safety
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and system faults to minimise downtime
• Respond to reactive service calls and proactively address issues during your shift
• Analyse system performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and performance records and prepare reports for stakeholders
• Support and mentor junior technicians, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
• Collaborate closely with the Service team to deliver high‐quality, customer‐focused outcomes

What makes you a great fit?

• Qualification (degree, diploma, or certificate) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience working with automated or industrial systems in a maintenance or service environment
• A methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting and maintenance activities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical teams and stakeholders
• Willingness and flexibility to work rotating 12‐hour day and night shifts
• Familiarity with WCS, SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks (desirable)
