About Valens Care
At Valens Care, we believe great allied health starts with supporting great clinicians. We are a growing provider of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Podiatry services across South East Queensland. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while creating a workplace where clinicians feel valued, supported and trusted.
As demand for our Physiotherapy services continues to grow, we are looking for Physiotherapists who enjoy working independently in the community while being backed by a genuinely supportive multidisciplinary team. We prioritise quality client care and sustainable workloads, allowing clinicians adequate time for assessments, documentation and travel. Whether you are an experienced clinician seeking flexibility and autonomy, or a new graduate looking for mentorship and structured support, we would love to hear from you.
Why Join Valens Care?
- Flexible full-time, part-time or casual opportunities
- Choose hours that suit your lifestyle
- Sustainable workload with approximately 8 client appointments per day
- Dedicated administration support for scheduling, referrals and invoicing
- Diverse community caseload across client homes, retirement villages and residential aged care facilities
- Friendly multidisciplinary team with ongoing support
- New graduate mentoring and structured onboarding
- Annual professional development allowance
- Growing organisation with long-term career opportunities
What Makes This Role Different?
We believe quality care takes time. Our clinicians typically see approximately 8 clients per day, allowing adequate time for assessments, treatment planning, documentation, travel, stakeholder communication and, most importantly, meaningful client interactions. Rather than focusing on high-volume service delivery, we prioritise clinical quality, professional judgement and positive client outcomes.
About the Role
You will work with a varied community caseload providing evidence-based Physiotherapy services to older adults across the Toowoomba region. Your responsibilities may include:
- Musculoskeletal, neurological and mobility assessments
- Functional assessments and rehabilitation planning
- Falls prevention and balance training
- Exercise prescription and individualised rehabilitation programs
- Mobility assessments and prescription of mobility aids
- Pain management and functional restoration
- Respiratory and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy (where appropriate)
- Report writing and clinical documentation
- Liaising with families, support coordinators, GPs and other healthcare professionals
We are looking for clinicians who are compassionate, organised, reliable and passionate about helping clients maintain independence, mobility and quality of life.
What We're Looking For
- Full AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Current Australian working rights
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Professional indemnity insurance
- National Police Check
- COVID-19 vaccination evidence
