As we continue expanding our operations across Melbourne and Victoria, we are seeking an experienced, motivated and well-connected Business Development & Sales Representative to help us secure new projects and develop lasting business partnerships.
About the Opportunity
This is a performance-driven, commission-based opportunity suited to someone who has experience in construction sales, business development or client acquisition.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, introducing UTUK Construction to potential clients and converting those relationships into profitable construction projects.
We are particularly interested in expanding our presence within:
- Retirement villages and aged care facilities
- Property management and real estate agencies
- Commercial building maintenance
- Residential bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Complete unit and property refurbishments
- Body corporate and owners corporation maintenance
- Government and community housing maintenance opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential commercial and residential clients.
- Generate qualified leads and secure new construction projects.
- Establish relationships with retirement village operators, facility managers, property managers and other decision-makers.
- Arrange client meetings, site inspections and project discussions.
- Promote UTUK Construction’s services and capabilities.
- Work closely with the Director to prepare competitive quotations and proposals.
- Follow up quotations and negotiate opportunities to secure contracts within approved commercial terms.
- Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business.
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular progress updates.
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities for the business.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in construction sales, business development or a related industry.
- An established network within construction, property management or commercial maintenance is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence approaching businesses and generating new opportunities.
- A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline.
- Good understanding of construction and renovation services.
- A current driver’s licence and ability to attend client meetings when required.

Commission Structure
This opportunity is intended to operate on a commission-based arrangement, with commission calculated on eligible projects successfully secured.
Full commission terms, payment triggers and engagement arrangements will be discussed with shortlisted applicants and confirmed in writing before commencement.
Any engagement will be structured in accordance with applicable Australian employment and contracting laws.
