Hey, I’m Greg Lewin, the Chief Medical Officer at Updoc. I’m excited to invite talented doctors to join our virtual care platform and help us build a future where no patient is left behind.

About Updoc

At Updoc we’re redefining access to healthcare by harnessing technology to bridge the gap between patients in every corner of Australia and doctors on our platform. I’ve seen firsthand during my military career, my time as a Remote Medicine Doctor in the Outback and Papua New Guinea and then as Medical Director at Sonder how technology not only improves access but saves lives.

The Role

We’re searching for high-quality and experienced doctors ready to deliver virtual care consultations from anywhere in Australia. In this role you will:

  • Conduct telehealth consultations with patients ranging from city centres like Brisbane to remote outback regions like Broome.
  • Leverage our integrated technology tools and robust clinical governance framework.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated tech and support teams to ensure every patient feels truly cared for.
  • Uphold our mission “no patient left behind” by continuously ensuring that care is not compromised even in the most challenging environments.

About You

  • You’re an AHPRA-registered doctor passionate about telehealth and its potential to transform healthcare.
  • You know that quality care is about more than just numbers – it’s about safety, trust and strong clinical governance.
  • You’re keen to embrace new technologies and work flexibly from anywhere in Australia.

Benefits

  • Flexibility: There’s no set hours each day or week – you can work whenever you like, wherever you like on whatever device you have and choose which patients or areas of speciality.
  • The team: We hire the best and brightest people and give you the autonomy to be innovative.
  • Psychological safety: You’ll feel safe to share your ideas and feedback openly to all areas of the business.
  • Updocversity: Within our people function we have Updocversity where we operate as an educational institution where you can pick up new skills through structured programs.
  • Diversity: 75% of the team are culturally and linguistically diverse.
  • Meaningful impact: Join a team that’s set up to reduce wait times drastically – in some cases from weeks to under an hour – and ensure every patient gets timely care.
  • Support: Enjoy dedicated platform training, and on-demand technical assistance via email chat and phone.
