Employment Status: Maximum Fixed Term - Part Time
Location: Townsville South & Surrounding Areas
Remuneration: $32.69 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement + Employee discounts.
The Program: Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support while you earn an income. We’ll connect you with government funding, so you complete the certificate at no cost.
About The Role:
- Provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
- Complete scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes.
- Assist with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
- Provide care in accordance with individualised Care Plans.
- Support community-based recreational and social activities.
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
Role Requirements:
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
- Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential.
- Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
- Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
