About the Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for the management of the Sunshine branch operations function.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising fleet, workshop and yard personnel, assigning duties in order of priority and ensuring all tasks are completed to company standards.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of stock within the branch to ensure appropriate stock to job allocation.
- Assist with the preparation of modification estimates and quotes for customers in collaboration with the Engineering team.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimise efficiency.
- Provide training and coaching to team and promote their professional development.
About you
You are a hands-on supervisor who motivates your team to achieve their best while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency and safety. With excellent organisational skills and a solutions-oriented mindset, you thrive in fast-paced environment, and you are agile in pivoting to changing customer needs.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- 2-3 years' experience in leading an operation team.
- Effective leadership and motivational skills.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage tight schedules.
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
