The University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) is continuing its digital transformation journey, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Systems Analyst (ERP) to help shape, support and enhance our enterprise application environment. Working within Enterprise Services, you’ll provide technical expertise across the design, development, implementation and ongoing improvement of critical administrative business systems, with a strong focus on delivering quality solutions that meet the needs of the University.

This is an opportunity to work on complex technology initiatives while partnering closely with stakeholders across UniSC. From analysing business requirements and designing technical solutions to providing day‑to‑day support and identifying opportunities to improve applications and processes, you’ll combine strong technical capability with a customer‑focused approach.

If you enjoy solving complex business challenges, improving enterprise systems and using technology to deliver better outcomes for stakeholders, you’ll find plenty of opportunity to make an impact in this role.

You will:

  • Lead and work with appropriate stakeholders and vendors to ensure operational support and development backlogs and related processes and practices are maintained, up‑to‑date, prioritised and delivered;
  • Lead and work with appropriate stakeholders to scope, architect, document technical requirements and/or implement new systems, integrations or system enhancements in accordance with UniSC policies and procedures;
  • Implement a proactive approach to continuously enhance and refine the processes related to enterprise applications, ensuring their optimal functionality, reliability, and efficiency by identifying areas for improvement, applying best practice, and leveraging emerging technologies to streamline operations and maximise productivity.

About you:

You’re a technically skilled and solutions‑focused systems professional who thrives in complex enterprise environments. You combine strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business and customer requirements into practical technical solutions. Highly organised and proactive, you can manage competing priorities, maintain effective support and development workflows, and drive continuous improvement. You build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and vendors, communicate clearly and confidently, and take a customer‑focused approach to resolving issues and delivering reliable, sustainable solutions that meet business needs.

You will possess:

  • Experience in the development, implementation and support of enterprise applications and related infrastructure, including object‑oriented programming, application services, web services and relational databases;
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, prioritise and deliver operational support and development backlogs;
  • Experience with the support, problem management and development of changes or improvements of ERP PeopleSoft, preferable in Campus and HCM services;
  • Experience leading stakeholders and vendors in the delivery of application development, support and maintenance activities;
  • Effective analytical skills to collate customer requirements using structured methodologies to prepare functional requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver products using good software development principles;
  • Expertise in SQL Server database development and scripting, with a demonstrated proficiency in T‑SQL and PowerShell.
