This role will be the key HR Lead role for the Unilever Foods business. The role will be based in the Foods Factory (Tatura) and partner both the factory teams and Head office teams who work in the Foods business. The role will hence be responsible for end-to-end HR leadership for the Foods business including people strategy, performance and HR operations and compliance. This includes delivering high-impact HR leadership and advisory services to both management and employees, driving cultural transformation, and other such initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Partner with Foods leadership to foster a high-performance culture
Partner with Foods leadership to design and deliver HR site priorities
Deliver HR processes and policies that align with site-specific business goals
Deliver HR projects that align with the Factory Master Plan and global initiatives
Validate workforce metrics and data for the business
Facilitate recruitment and onboarding activities
Provide comprehensive HR support to all leaders and employees
Drive continuous improvement through coaching and feedback
Manage complex workplace issues, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions, with professionalism and compliance
Facilitate site Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations
About you
Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field
Previous HR generalist or business partner experience
Previous experience working in a factory environment and dealing with Unions
Strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation
