OVERVIEW Swinburne University of Technology is seeking an International Admissions Officer to support the administration of international student applications within a designated regional team. This full-time, fixed-term role is based at the Hawthorn campus and runs until 30 September 2027. The position works closely with the Admissions Team Leader and International Recruitment staff to support the admissions process from application through to offers, acceptances, and enrolments. The role focuses on delivering accurate and efficient admissions services while supporting enrolment outcomes for international students. Candidates with strong organisational skills, admissions knowledge, and a commitment to client service will be well suited to this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Support the admissions function within a designated regional team in International Admissions
- Contribute to the administration of international student applications
- Work closely with the Admissions Team Leader and International Recruitment staff
- Support the admissions process from application through to offers, acceptances, and enrolments
- Assist with processing admissions applications
- Conduct advanced standing assessments
- Maintain strong attention to detail across admissions tasks
- Manage competing priorities, deadlines, and workload pressures
- Deliver high levels of client service and respond effectively to client needs
- Use database systems, spreadsheets, and word processing tools to support admissions processes
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of international admissions
- Knowledge of entry and selection
