Retail Shop Assistant in Adelaide

We are seeking a Retail Shop Assistant to join the team at Uniform Management Services in Adelaide, SA. This is a casual vacation position that offers flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service in our retail environment. As a Retail Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our business, ensuring customers receive a welcoming experience whilst browsing and purchasing our products. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and support in the retail sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, professional assistance with their shopping needs
• Demonstrating product knowledge and recommending items based on customer requirements
• Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments
• Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing shop environment at all times
• Restocking shelves and displays with merchandise in an orderly manner
• Assisting with stock management and inventory checks as required
• Answering customer enquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Supporting promotional activities and seasonal displays
• Adhering to health, safety and company policies whilst on the shop floor
