The Australian Government Career Starter Program offers a 12-month, full-time path designed for graduates who completed Year 12 in 2025 or 2026. You will be placed in a permanent APS1 role within a participating department or agency and study towards Certificates IV in Government or HR while you work.
You will receive a dedicated supervisor, access to networking events with other Career Starters and a clear pathway to advancing to APS2 on successful completion.
