Motor Mechanic – Qualified or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice

Ultra Tune Rockdale is looking for a motivated, reliable mechanic who is passionate about cars and takes pride in their work.
We’re seeking a qualified light-vehicle mechanic, but will also consider a capable third- or fourth-year apprentice with solid workshop experience.
About the role
- Servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Carrying out brake, suspension, cooling system and general mechanical repairs.
- Diagnosing faults and using diagnostic equipment appropriate to your experience.
- Identifying required repairs and completing accurate job cards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
About you
- Trade qualified with a current NSW motor vehicle tradesperson certificate, or currently a third- or fourth-year light-vehicle apprentice.
- Practical workshop experience with servicing and mechanical repairs.
- Clear spoken and written English to understand workshop and safety instructions, discuss repairs and complete job cards.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to take initiative.
- Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
- A professional attitude, respect for teammates and willingness to accept feedback and keep learning.
- A current driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia.
European vehicle experience and strong diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
What we offer
- Qualified mechanics: $45–$50 per hour + super, depending on skills and experience.
- Third- and fourth-year apprentices: $30–$38 per hour + super, depending on apprenticeship stage and experience.
- Full-time employment with varied servicing, repair and diagnostic work.
- Access to modern diagnostic equipment.
- Supervision and continued training for apprentices.
- Overtime and applicable allowances paid separately. All quoted rates are before tax.
