Re-advertising as more hours have been granted.
We are a neurodiverse family in South Leeds.
I live with multiple invisible health conditions, and my disability needs can fluctuate.
I am prone to regular strains, sprains and partial joint dislocations.
I can struggle with fatigue.
I currently home-educate my two children who are 5 and 6 who share the same conditions as me.
We are hoping to find a regular PA who can support us in day-to-day tasks and also help us access the community more.
We really enjoy nature and centre a lot of learning around this.
Although home education was not the first choice, I have found that getting out more has positively impacted my overall wellbeing and the children are thriving.
However, it has increased pressure to keep on top of life.
Including cooking, and naturally I have had more injuries and fatigue.
I have found it difficult to access treatments that help me, such as regular physio, so some child supervision may be required to enable me to access appointments.
I am looking for someone reliable, understanding, and proactive to help me manage daily life, household organisation, shopping etc.
As a family, we love nature, art, gardening, cooking, and baking. We would like support so we can do more of this and get out more.
