Essential Skills and Attributes
- Experience as a team leader in a production environment
- Extensive experience in metal fabrication
- Strong HR ability with key focus on safety, quality and efficiency
- Hands on leadership style with “can do” attitude
- Organised and thorough in all aspects of work
- Willing to support and achieve goals and targets. Commitment to the production plan.
- High level of attention to detail and desire to produce quality work
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization

- Daily Operation Responsibilities
- Daily/ weekly check lists
- Dealing with daily issues/ requests
- Work to a priority work list

- Back flushing
- Apprentice training/ coaching and mentoring

- Quality check lists
- Experience with a computer-based inventory management system ideally Syspro is also highly desirable.
The successful applicant will ideally have good written, verbal communication and numerical skills. A good stable work history and a positive “can do” attitude.
