About the Role
Due to its rapid and ongoing growth, the Company now has an exciting opportunity for a trade assistant to join the Fabrication Team.
- Reporting to the Fabrication Manager and Team Leader, this role will be responsible for:
- Assisting tradespeople in daily tasks and projects
- Load and unload materials, parts and equipment
- Prepare materials and components for production or repair work
- Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment
- Support with moving or positioning heavy items
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and machinery
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic Machine Operation, CNC operation is desired but not essential
- An ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- An ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Must have a can-do attitude
- Have a strong safety mindset and attitude
- The proven ability to work within a team environment as the organisational needs dictate
- A current Drivers Licence and Forklift is preferred but not essential
