We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Tyre Fitter or Trainee Tyre Fitter to join our team at our Tyre Shop in Blackwater. Whether you have previous tyre fitting experience or are looking to start a career in the industry, we want to hear from you! Main Duties Key Responsibilities:
- Removing, fitting and replacing tyres
- Inspecting tyres and identifying damage, wear and potential issues
- Performing wheel alignments
- Diagnosing wheel balancing issues and balancing wheels
- Providing friendly, professional and high‑quality customer service
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations
Qualifications About You:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previous tyre fitting experience is desirable, but not essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with traineeships available for suitable applicants without experience
- Wheel alignment experience is advantageous
- A current driver's licence and the ability to drive manual vehicles
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
- Clear communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- A reliable, safety‑conscious approach to work
- A team‑first attitude and willingness to assist colleagues across all areas of the workshop
