This is a hands-on, physical role working as part of an experienced event crew. Your work will include:
- Setting up and dismantling marquees and event structures
- Installing flooring, furniture and event equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Picking and preparing equipment at the warehouse
- Setting up weddings, festivals, corporate events and other major events
- Travelling to different event sites across Victoria
- Packing down events and returning equipment to the warehouse
No marquee or event experience is required. Training is provided to people with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Key responsibilities:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Can follow instructions and work safely
- Available for flexible hours, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends
Advantageous but not essential:
- Construction, landscaping, removals, warehousing or labouring experience
- Event or marquee installation experience
- Forklift licence, MR or HR truck licence, White Card, or experience towing trailers or driving larger vehicles
