Twilight Aged Care is a stand-alone not-for-profit service with a rich history spanning over 100 years. Employing over 300 dedicated staff, they provide high quality residential aged care for more than 200 men and women in 5 homes across Northern Sydney – Dural, Gordon, Mosman, Hunters Hill and Gladesville.
The Role - Laundry Attendant
Promoting and maintaining optimum levels of resident health and well-being through the provision of exceptional laundry services. Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Ability to perform safe use of laundry product and equipment
- Knowledge of safe use of chemicals
- Knowledge of infection control
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Work well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Maintain the laundry record
- To perform duties according to work schedule
- Comply with Twilight Aged Care policies and procedures
- Promote and maintain a safe workplace and work towards eliminating hazards and risks
- Encourage the minimisation of waste

- Opportunity for permanent part time (PPT) 48 Hours/Fortnight PPT Laundry Attendant (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur)

About you
Demonstrating experience in a similar role, you will have:
- An up-to-date Police Check or NDIS
- Previous experience (highly preferred)
- Previous experience working in community or aged care would be highly regarded
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Certificates in Hospitality (optional)
