We are seeking an IT Operations Administrator to join our team at our Port West facility in Lytton. Reporting to the IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager, you'll provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, assisting employees with day-to-day technical issues, system access, equipment and business applications.
The role involves a combination of hands-on technical support, routine systems administration and assisting with IT projects, working alongside the broader IT team and following established processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across hardware, software and IT systems.
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, network and connectivity issues.
Assist with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user accounts and access requests.
Log, manage and resolve IT support requests through the ServiceDesk system.
Support the setup, maintenance and replacement of IT equipment.
Assist with system upgrades, installations and IT-related projects.
Maintain IT documentation and elevate more complex technical issues as required.
Liaise with internal teams and external IT service providers when needed.
About You
We're looking for someone with a practical approach to IT support who enjoys troubleshooting problems and assisting others.
Ideally, you'll have:
A minimum of two years' experience in IT support, ServiceDesk or a similar technical role.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Windows operating systems.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and basic networking issues.
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and support procedures.
Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
The ability to prioritise requests and work effectively as part of a team.
A customer-focused approach to providing IT support.
