This role will be working on delivering retail projects in Gold Coast office for our Major Retail client in Australia. The project will provide a variety of deliverables from concept design cost planning to agreement of final accounts. The role is an end-to-end cost management role within cost planning and delivery team providing accurate and efficient cost management resource capability to the team. The job scope includes:
- Pre contract cost planning services during design stages of projects
- Post contract progress claim and variation assessments
- Engage with the local property market to gain market knowledge for use in the delivery of our services
- Assist with the commission management of our commissions to assist in the successful delivery of our services
- Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland and support when required
- Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables
Qualifications:
- Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
- Outgoing personality, client facing and the ability to work independently and take the lead
- 3+ years post graduate experience
- AIQS of RICS member or currently on the pathway to membership
- Experience in CostX preferred
- Experience across the life cycle of projects with experience in pre-contract, procurement, and post contract activities
