Are you an experienced Legal Assistant or Career Paralegal? At Turner Freeman Lawyers, we have been standing up for everyday Australians for over 70 years. We are currently looking for a motivated and organised Legal Assistant/Career Paralegal to join our Parramatta office and become a key part of our friendly team. Supporting a Partner you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the care and service they deserve, while keeping her practice running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide day-to-day support to our legal team, including diary and file management
- Liaise with clients and external parties
- Draft, format, and amend legal documents and correspondence
- Booking of medical appointments and conferences for clients
- Coordinate the flow of documents and medical reports
What We Are Looking For
- You’ll bring a proactive approach and a genuine desire to help others. Ideally, you will also have:
- Worked as a legal assistant at Partner level in the area of personal injury
- Solid knowledge across workers compensation and common law personal injury
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Fast and accurate typing
- Great phone manner and written communication
- The ability to juggle priorities and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and a team-focused mind-set
