We’re partnering with a growing, multi-brand business looking for a hands‑on Production Manager to drive production performance, optimise costs and streamline product development across its portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible commercial impact while working across production, product development, design and systems transformation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, you’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day production operations while identifying opportunities to improve margins, reduce lead times and strengthen supplier performance. Key Responsibilities
- Cost Optimisation: Drive incremental cost‑of‑goods (COGS) improvements through supplier negotiations, value engineering, component optimisation and manufacturing efficiencies.
- Production & Supplier Management: Oversee day‑to‑day production, manage supplier relationships and ensure products meet agreed cost, quality and delivery expectations.
- Speed to Market: Identify opportunities to reduce sampling, development and manufacturing lead times, improve critical paths and streamline workflows.
- Systems & Process Improvement: Lead the functional requirements for PIM and PLM implementation across product development and production, supporting data accuracy, process improvements and team adoption.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage the Production & Compliance Coordinator, providing guidance, prioritisation and ongoing development.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative, commercial, finance, operations and IT stakeholders to improve efficiency while maintaining brand positioning and product quality.
About You

- Proven experience in production management, sourcing or product development within Apparel, Accessories or related consumer products.
- Strong knowledge of offshore manufacturing, supplier negotiations, product costing, technical specifications and quality processes.
- A track record of delivering cost savings, improving supplier performance and reducing production lead times.

- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and the ability to translate opportunities into measurable results.
- Confidence leading teams and collaborating across creative, commercial and operational functions.
- Strong systems aptitude, with experience in PIM, PLM or similar system implementations highly regarded.
