TRS Resourcing is seeking skilled tradespeople for ongoing workshop-based fabrication work in Melbourne.
This opportunity suits candidates experienced in precision TIG welding who can confidently interpret drawings and produce high-quality stainless-steel components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel
- Fabricate and assemble stainless-steel components
- Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Measure, mark out, cut, fit and finish components accurately
- Organise and prioritise your workload
- Work independently while meeting quality and safety standards
- Complete general fabrication and mechanical tasks as required
- What We Require
- Trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication or Welding
- Demonstrated TIG welding experience
- Strong experience working with stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- References from at least two previous employers
- Melbourne-based applicants
- Valid Australian working rights
