About the Role
Troocoo is partnering with a well established not for profit organisation to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer based in Murarrie. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will manage end to end payroll processing, with a focus on payroll governance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement across a complex workforce.

Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy and integrity, while providing advice across employee entitlements, reporting and payroll related matters.
- Manage end to end fortnightly payroll processing
- Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions
- Manage payroll reconciliations, superannuation and salary packaging
- Maintain payroll controls, compliance and audit requirements
- Provide technical payroll advice to employees and managers
- Support payroll process improvement and automation
About You
You will be confident working autonomously, managing competing deadlines and resolving complex payroll matters, with a strong eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Minimum five years of end to end payroll experience
- Experience within a medium to large or complex workforce, ideally 500+ employees
- Strong award and enterprise agreement interpretation experience
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and STP
- Advanced Excel skills
- ELMO, PayRTA or similar payroll system experience highly regarded
