We’re looking for an experienced, driven Sous Chef to joinour leadership team.
The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll help bring VictorLiong’s culinary vision to life in Sydney.
You will:
- Help run the kitchen and lead service with calm,consistent execution
- Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team,setting the standard for quality and professionalism
- Support the head chef with menu development andcontribute ideas for procedures and efficiencies.
- Assist with ordering, stock control, foodcosting and rostering
- Step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef’sabsence
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety,hygiene and kitchen organisation
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strongJunior Sous Chef in a hatted or fine dining kitchen
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to quality, presentationand consistency
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A genuine passion for contemporary Asian cuisine
- Cantonese cuisine experience is highly regardedbut not essential
