Trippas White Group (TWG) is looking for an experienced andmotivated Venue Manager to lead the team at The Lookout Echo Point, one ofAustralia's most iconic hospitality destinations, overlooking the spectacularJamison valley, walking distance to the Three Sisters in the heart of the BlueMountains.

About the Role
As Venue Manager, you will take responsibility for theoverall day-to-day operation of The Lookout, ensuring the venue operatesefficiently, commercially and consistently delivers high standards of food,beverage and customer service. You will lead, develop and motivate the team,oversee service standards, manage operational costs and work closely with thewider TWG management team to achieve business objectives. This is a hands-onleadership position suited to someone who leads by example, enjoys being on thefloor and can confidently manage a busy hospitality operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the venue,ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-houseteam.
- Maintain exceptional customer service andpresentation standards.
- Ensure consistent delivery of food and beveragequality.
- Manage rosters, labour costs and staffingrequirements.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets andoperational KPIs.
- Control stock, ordering, wastage and operationalexpenses.
- Manage customer feedback and resolve guestconcerns professionally.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA andworkplace health and safety requirements.
- Build a positive team culture based onaccountability, teamwork and professional standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensurestrong communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement operational improvementsto enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain strong relationships with keystakeholders and the local community.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue andimprove the overall guest experience.
About You
We are looking for an experienced hospitality professionalwho has:
- Previous experience as a Venue Manager,Restaurant Manager or Operations Manager.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability tobuild and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent customer service and communicationskills.
- Strong financial understanding, includingP&L management, labour and cost control.
- Experience managing rosters, recruitment,training and performance.
- The ability to work under pressure and makesound operational decisions.
- Excellent personal presentation and aprofessional approach.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic andhands-on management style.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention todetail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in tourism, high-volume hospitality,cafés, restaurants and events will be highly regarded.
Availability
The Lookout operates seven days a week, including weekendsand public holidays.
The successful candidate must be flexible and available towork across:
- Weekdays and weekends.
- Public holidays.
- Day and evening shifts, as required.
- Peak tourism periods and busy trading periods.
