We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Retail Security Officers to join our team at Robina Town Centre. These opportunities offer genuine pathways to permanent roles for high-performing officers.
About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining safety and supporting daily operations at the centre, assisting customers, managing incidents, and working closely with centre management and emergency services to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality, front-line security services to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Identifying, monitoring, and managing potential risks.
- Accurately reporting and documenting incidents.
- Responding promptly to medical and security emergencies, including handling emergency situations.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with emergency services.
- Using your conflict resolution skills to de-escalate situations when necessary.
- Offering guidance and operational support to fellow security officers.
What we're looking for:
- A valid security licence with a crowd controller function.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear verbal and written communication.
- Reliable, proactive approach to safety and service.
- Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- High standard of presentation and professionalism.
