Key responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for clients by phone, email and in person, handling queries, follow-ups and requests for information.
- Manage client onboarding, correspondence and document collection.
- Complete new client identity and AML checks.
- Coordinate job workflow, deadlines and lodgement tracking.
- Prepare and send engagement letters, signing packages and client documents.
- Maintain client records across our practice management platforms.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows using our digital tools.
- Document and improve internal procedures and templates.
- Support the team with general administration.
About you
- Eager to learn and grow. Previous experience isn't essential, as full training and support will be provided.
- Highly confident with technology. You pick up new software quickly and enjoy figuring out how to get more out of it.
- A friendly, clear and professional manner on the phone and in writing.
- A process thinker who spots inefficiencies and proposes practical fixes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- Experience in an accounting or professional services firm is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Familiarity with Xero, XPM, FYI, Ignition or Annature is a bonus, but not essential.
