Join Our Vintage 2027 Team
Wynns Coonawarra Estate is seeking enthusiastic, reliable and safety-focused people to join our team for Vintage 2027. Vintage is the most exciting and rewarding period in the winery calendar. Working as part of our Cellar team, you'll play a hands-on role in transforming premium Coonawarra fruit into world-class wines.
About the Role
As a Vintage Cellar Hand, you'll support a range of winery operations, including:
- Grape receival and processing
- Fermentation management activities
- Tank and equipment cleaning and sanitation
- Wine transfers and general cellar operations
- Sampling and quality-related activities
- Following safe work practices and quality standards
About You
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be reliable and punctual
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Be committed to workplace safety
- Be physically capable of working in a winery environment
- Be available for shift work, weekends and overtime
- Previous winery experience is advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided.
What to Expect
During peak vintage periods, rosters may include:
- Up to 12-hour shifts
- Up to 6 days per week
- Day and night shifts
- Overtime opportunities and applicable penalties
Limited accommodation is available for successful applicants relocating to the region and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are welcome from candidates with valid Australian work rights for the duration of Vintage 2027.
