We are looking for a motivated Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team at Best Western Olde Maritime, 110 Merri Street, Warrnambool, VIC — a well-established 43-room property at the western end of the Great Ocean Road, beside Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and home to the recently refurbished Clovelly Restaurant & Bar.
Role Overview
The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, as well as responding to guest requests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. The Front Office Receptionist is also an ambassador for the region, sharing highlights of Warrnambool, the Shipwreck Coast and the Great Ocean Road with our guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests on arrival, manage check-in and check-out, and share information on our facilities, services and local attractions
- Handle phone and online reservations, ensuring accurate and timely bookings
- Maintain guest records, process payments and manage day-to-day front desk operations
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready and issues are resolved quickly
- Monitor guest access and maintain the security of the front desk area
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and report any hazards
