- Maintain applications, client operation systems, desktop equipment, server equipment, specialised systems and networked systems.
- Ensure our ITS Systems are performing to their availability and reliability targets - monitor them closely and conduct maintenance and system upgrades to keep them operating at their best.
- Monitor and maintain all sorts of specialised equipment including PABXs and Trunked radio, data network equipment, CCTV equipment, Traffic Flow Systems, PLCs and Building Security System.
- Provide guidance and direction to sub-contractors and other teams, to resolve and escalate system faults, conduct maintenance and restoration works.
- Conduct monitoring and maintenance of the ITS systems to deliver the target system availability by following documented procedures and work instructions.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in a similar role maintaining critical systems in electrical, electronic or communication system support.
- Completed a TAFE or equivalent trade qualifications in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Systems with proven experience in a comparable industry or Engineering Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Systems Engineering.
- Organised, efficient and decisive in prioritising tasks; pressure doesn't faze you.
- Proven ability to work effectively in rostered environments, adapting to varying schedules and operational demands.
- Hands-on experience in field operations, including system support and troubleshooting across diverse infrastructure and environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-driven with a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license.
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
With a career at Transurban, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- A range of flexible working options.
- 16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, available for the duration of the contract, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave.
- Learning and development opportunities to support your career interests.
- Health and wellbeing support - access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and more.
- Social activities and groups.
We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing and inclusion; where everyone belongs. We treat everyone with fairness, consideration and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience.
