In this role, you'll:
- Help build the workforce to deliver some of the largest renewable infrastructure projects in New South Wales.
- Work within our REZ Escort Workforce Competency Team in the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, responsible for building and assuring workforce capability across Renewable Energy Zones (REZ).
- Develop, coordinate and implement competency-based training and assessment programs to ensure Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) workforce capability needs are met.
- Build the competency reassurance for compliance, safety culture, and enhance the operational performance of Oversized and Overmass (OSOM) movements throughout regional NSW.
- Develop training plans and competency assurance processes to ensure identified capability needs are met.
- Oversee competency systems, monitor qualifications and authorisations, develop workforce capability solutions and provide trusted advice to help keep people safe and operations moving.
About you
- You're passionate about developing people and building high-performing operational workforces.
- You have experience applying your tertiary qualifications or industry-based experience in a complex operating environment to strengthen workforce capability and support operational readiness, complemented by a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or above adult education qualification.
- You're recognised for your industry knowledge with Oversized and Overmass (OSOM) movements as well as your experience in working within a dynamic space with lots of competing and challenging priorities.
This is an Award Transport Grade 8 Permanent Full-Time role based in Macquarie Park and Sydney CBD, with a need to travel to regional areas of NSW from time to time as well. Also, some flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!
