In this role, you'll:
- Work as part of a team delivering high quality, solutions focused legal services across commercial, technology and property matters to support Transport for NSW in meeting its statutory, policy and contractual obligations.
- Provide practical legal advice, draft and negotiate complex commercial and property contracts, support major projects and contribute to dispute resolution where required, while building capability through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Lead and navigate practical legal solutions and improved decision making in a complex, fast paced public sector environment with competing priorities, supporting major infrastructure initiatives.
About you
Your strong legal expertise, analytical capability, and communication skills have been developed through experience in general property law, including leasing, licensing, easements and telco property across government, private practice, and in house environments. You are a trusted advisor who collaborates effectively, communicates clearly, and applies sound judgement to support informed decision making and successful outcomes. You hold tertiary qualifications in law, a current NSW practising certificate, and bring a minimum of four years' post qualification experience.
