In this role, you'll support Transport for NSW by building and maintaining secure, reliable and scalable cloud platforms that enable digital transformation and efficient service delivery across the organisation. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure build and support, automation, monitoring, security compliance and cloud migration, working in complex hybrid environments while balancing innovation with strict government standards and operational stability.
Strong experience in enterprise cloud platforms, automation and security is essential, along with collaboration, problem-solving and accountability. The role requires clear communication, continuous learning and effective use of technology to improve reliability, efficiency and business outcomes.
The Cloud Engineer (Optimisation) focuses on improving cloud efficiency, performance and value while delivering assigned work within TfNSW governance and financial frameworks. The role analyses and fine tunes cloud environments to optimise cost, scalability, reliability and performance across enterprise platforms. Success depends on strong collaboration, accountability and data driven improvement to maximise the effectiveness and business value of cloud services.
