Bus Driver Opportunities – Cairns Depot
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated drivers to join our Cairns Depot team, operating long-distance, regional, and school services across Far North Queensland.
Positions Available
Cairns to Karumba Service
- Long-distance route
- Overnight stays in Karumba required
- 12-hour shifts
Cairns to Cooktown Service
- Scenic coastal and regional driving
- Flexible opportunities available
Atherton to Cairns Service
- Regular regional route
- Daily return services
- Opportunity for consistent rostered hours
Cairns Special Education School Service – Drivers and Carers
- School transport operations -- Working with students requiring additional support
- Split shifts and school-term work available
- Patient, caring, and safety-focused drivers encouraged
About the Role
You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and freight while delivering a high standard of customer service across our regional and school transport network.
Requirements
- Current QLD Driver's Authority, or willingness to obtain
- Appropriate licence (MR/HR preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage long-distance routes
- Commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work respectfully with school students and passengers from diverse backgrounds
