Transcend are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our high profiled client. This role involves operating a Gas Forklift as well as performing manual handling duties.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working both on and off the forklift in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Gas Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks with steel products (4-6 metre lengths).
• Bundle and stage materials for dispatch or storage.
• Move, stack, and organise stock within the warehouse or yard.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled in accordance with safety. standards.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues.

Criteria

• Full Australian Work Rights.
• Valid High Risk Forklift License (LF).
• Experience operating a Gas Forklift (Essential).
• Ability to handle long-length steel products safely (Highly Regarded).
• Willingness to perform manual labour and work off the forklift as required.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
