Enjoy hands-on work? Join a team that supports you. At TPSC, we're an established, family-run pool and spa business based in Tullamarine, servicing Melbourne's north and north-west. We're looking for a Pool Service Technician to join our friendly team. Previous pool and spa servicing experience is preferred, but not essential. If you're practical, reliable and keen to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

If you already have experience in pool cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing or equipment repairs and installations, we'd value the skills you bring.

  • A great team to work with— friendly, approachable people who support each other and share their knowledge.
  • Company vehicle provided— for your pool servicing and installation work.
  • Flexible working arrangements— full-time or part-time options for the right candidate.
  • Hours that can fit around family life— including school drop-offs and pickups.
  • Varied, hands-on work— from regular pool maintenance to troubleshooting and equipment upgrades.
  • An established family business— where your contribution is recognised and valued.

Full-time or part-time — let's find the right fit. Whether you're looking for five full days a week, fewer days, or shorter hours across the week, we're open to discussing an arrangement that works for you and our service schedule. For the right candidate, we can accommodate hours around school pickups, parenting or other commitments.

What you'll be doing

Working primarily across Melbourne's north and north-west, your duties will reflect your experience and develop as your skills grow. The role includes:

  • Regular pool and spa servicing, including cleaning, water testing and chemical balancing.
  • Identifying pool and spa issues and recommending practical solutions.
  • Troubleshooting equipment faults and carrying out maintenance and repairs.
  • Installing new equipment and upgrading existing systems.
  • Building positive customer relationships and explaining service findings and recommendations.
  • Keeping accurate service notes and communicating with our administration team.
  • Working with fellow technicians and sharing knowledge.

As you build confidence in the role, you'll work independently on service visits, with a supportive team to call on when needed.

What we're looking for

Pool and spa servicing experience would be an advantage, but the right attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are also important to us. You'll bring:

  • A practical approach and an interest in hands‐on work.
  • Good attention to detail and problem‐solving skills.
  • A friendly, professional manner and clear communication.
  • Reliability, good organisation and pride in your work.
  • A willingness to learn and support your teammates.
  • A current full Australian driver's licence and Australian work rights.
  • Experience with pool equipment repairs, installations, automation or newer technologies is a bonus, rather than a requirement.
