You'll help load and unload deliveries, pick and pack customer orders, look after stock and make sure orders are ready to go on time. It's a hands‐on, fast‐paced role with on‐the‐job training and opportunities to build your skills. The right person with the right qualifications may also have opportunity to be out on the road delivering building materials to our customers and assist with our deliveries.

This role suits someone who enjoys practical, hands‐on work, takes safety seriously, and is comfortable building good relationships with customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Receiving, moving, storing and loading stock safely
- Preparing customer orders accurately and on time
- Loading orders for delivery or customer pick-up
- Keeping the yard and work areas clean, organised and safe
- Making sure loads are secured and goods are handled with care
- Providing great service to customers and team members
- Keeping an eye on stock levels and helping the team stay on top of demand
- Taking part in deliveries as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Open Manual License essential
- Forklift licence (LF) essential
- Physically fit and able to safely handle building materials
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using basic systems and willing to learn new ones
- A practical, hands‐on attitude and the ability to keep things moving on busy days
- Medium Rigid Truck Licence (MR) preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of Townsville and surrounding areas is preferred not essential
