Total Worx Electrical is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team in Rosebery, NSW. This is a full-time position based on-site, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical projects in a fast-paced, professional environment. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
Key responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment and components in residential, commercial and industrial settings
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to understand project requirements
Test electrical systems and equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure optimal functionality
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical installations and systems to minimise downtime and extend equipment life
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members on job sites to ensure seamless project completion
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on each project
Adhere to health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with clients regarding project progress and any issues
What we're looking for
Current electrical license and qualifications as required by the relevant regulatory bodies in New South Wales
Proven experience working as an Electrician in residential, commercial or industrial environments
Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, codes and safety standards
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints and technical documentation
Competence with electrical testing and diagnostic tools and equipment
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high work standards
Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in varied weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Valid driving licence and reliable transport
First Aid certification is desirable
